"I started with Loch Fyne in 2009 as a waitress in Gosforth. I thoroughly enjoyed this role but wanted to progress after realising that hospitality was the career for me. I then trained as a Supervisor and quickly progressed to Assistant Manager, Holding Manager and ultimately moving into a General Managers role. Gosforth became one of the most successful restaurants in the brand and with that I was nominated and won the ‘Rising Star award’ at the annual conference. My current position as General Manager in the City of London became available and I applied, within a month I had moved everything down to London and I am still happy with my role here at Gracechurch Street as the day I started and look forward to progressing further within Loch Fyne."

"I joined Loch Fyne Twickenham in May 2000 as a Kitchen Porter. In only four months I was given the opportunity to progress to commis chef and two months later I was promoted to CDP. In 2002 I was promoted to Sous Chef and I was delighted by this opportunity. Loch Fyne sent me to Kitchen catering school in Twickenham where I developed my skills. In 2003 I was promoted to Head Chef at Loch Fyne Twickenham. I delivered good food quality, 5*stars EHO, best GP in the company and I shared my knowledge and developed my junior team, becoming Head Chef of the year. In February 2006 I moved to Loch Fyne Egham where I worked for 4 months. Both my Sous chefs were promoted to Head Chefs. In January 2007 I became an Area Chef, where I work on the menu development and look after 20 Head Chefs. I’ve been with Loch Fyne for 16 years now and I enjoy working for this great brand.
